As I was preparing this month’s newsletter, the following verse kept on running through my mind:
Numbers 24:5 How lovely are your tents, O Jacob, and your dwellings, O Israel!
We just celebrated the first three feasts of the Lord, Passover, Unleavened Bread and First Fruits. We rejoice in the sacrifice of the ultimate Passover Lamb, Yeshua our Messiah. And we renewed our covenant with YHWH Elohim through the work that Yeshua did on the cross. We are grafted into the covenant with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. And so, when the Lord says in Numbers 24:5 “how lovely are your tents, O Jacob” – we know that if we align with the God of Jacob, we are also included in that beautiful blessing. That is truly what our Father meant when He prophesied through the prophet Malachi: Malachi 4:6 He will turn the hearts of the fathers to their children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers [a reconciliation produced by repentance]…. May we return, in repentance, to the fathers of the faith we so strongly believe in. May we return to Abraham and Moses. Two figurative pillars of our faith.
May you experience the Lord’s blessing and Shalom in the month of April!
